Growing up in a family of engineers suggested Sämmer first the technical and scientific direction and trained as an aircraft engine - mechanics .
As a cook he then tried it as a career changer in gastronomy. His first stop was the Bogenhauser court, where he trained as a chef. He initially worked in the Munich catering trade before he drove a camper through Australia for a year and worked on a yacht in the Mediterranean .
In 2004 he founded his own company and has been operating one ever since Catering company at the Ammersee. He cooks at events of large companies in southern Germany, works as a catering consultant and works as an advertising medium for companies in the kitchen and outdoor sector.
