Jennifer Fisher’s love for baking is only exceeded by her appetite for baked goods. She became so enamored with tasty, high-carb treats that when she discovered in 2008 that she had a severe gluten allergy, she turned her kitchen into a food lab and created gluten-free versions of all her favorite recipes.

Although avoiding gluten was essential, her ultimate objective was to create goodies that tasted as good or better than the originals—all the tasty treats she grew up baking and eating with her mom.

Surprise! It’s Gluten Free! is the culmination of her culinary efforts and expertise, a book she literally cooked up in her kitchen.
