Jeff Mauro grew up in Chicago with a big family and a love of food and the performing arts. After graduating college, he opened Prime Time Deli & Catering in Westmont, Illinois. He attended Le Cordon Bleu, graduating valedictorian of his class.
He went on to win season 7 of Food Network Star and launched his Emmy-nominated show, Sandwich King, which ran for three seasons. He's currently a co-host on the Emmy-nominated The Kitchen, which is now in its 24th season. He lives with his wife and son in Chicago.
